Review:

I have been a fan of The Hollows for years.  A Perfect Blood was a great addition to the series.  This book took place in the real world this time and I found that I really missed the ever after and all the demon shenanigans.  Al is one of my favorite characters in the series and we didn't get very much time with him.

In this book Rachel and the team have to work with the FIB and the IS to find a human hate group who are targeting witches.  They are trying to create demon blood in hopes of wiping out all interlanders from the world.

Rachel has come a long way in this series and in this book she finally accepts who she is.  She is a Demon and with that comes complications for every aspect in her life.  She deals with it fairly well but I was shocked to see that most of her help came from Trent.

This book is all about Trent and Rachel.  Throughout this series I have loved to hate Trent but in A Perfect Blood I think I just love him.  It was wonderful to see him leave the business side of things behind and just focus on being himself as an elf.  I love watching him come alive with his wild magic.  I really hope that he will be the guy for Rachel and there were plenty of moments in this book that made me think I just might get my wish.  It is time for Rachel to be happy.

While this seemed to be a bridging book it has been one of my favorites in the series so far.  There are only two maybe three books left in the series but the end of this book had a scene about Trent and Ceri's little girls with Al.  It seemed to me that the events of that scene could possibly be the beginning of a spin off in the future.   I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!!
