Summary from Goodreads:
So wrong for each other...and yet so right.
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible. Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

Joanna's Review:
This book was above and beyond what I thought it was going
to be. Even though the book took place in a senior year high school setting it
was relatable to even myself that has not been in high school for almost 10 years!
She kept you wanting to keep reading to find out what really happened to Echo. There were also circumstances in the book that everyone has experienced in one
way or another to make you feel even more connected to the characters. She even
wrote it to where you experienced life lessons such as “not judging a book by
its cover” (no pun intendedJ).
I would recommend this book to anybody and can’t wait to read the story she is
writing next about Beth called “Dare to you”. I’m sure it will be just as thrilling
and will draw me in as much as this one!
Pushing The Limits will be released on July 31, 2012.
